Rogue Assassin is an action thriller based on the attempts of an FBI agent seeking revenge against an assassin responsible for the death of his partner and good friend. Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) and his partner Tom Wynne (Terry Chen) encounter a mysterious assassin amidst a raging mob war. The Japanese mafia employs this cold blooded killer to get rid of their enemies. But as it occurs the mad killer named Rogue (Jet Li) turns on Tom, who shoots him in a confrontation, and ends up killing him and his family.
This sends Crawford on a hunt for the ever elusive marksman, leaving behind his family and life. What follows is a relatively tense premise, wherein the warring groups of Japanese mafia lock arms and Crawford goes about setting things right.
The film has a good plot, it builds up a decent amount of tension and creates a lot of suspense and drama.
